IDC-Oregon ~ Last Chance to Act!

Description

Last chance to ACT!

Each day you use your voice and vision to reshape spaces -- now is the time to use that voice, in unison with other Oregon design professionals, to advocate for HB2153 and influence your career today!

HB2153-A has moved out of the policy committee and is waiting to be assigned to a Way and Means committee.

Right now, the Department of Consumer and Business Services/The Department of Justice has issued a high fiscal impact statement to implement the registry and are using their authority to keep us from passing this bill.  Instead of working collaboratively as other groups have, they’re being combative with every effort to find some common ground.

From small business owners to large firms, the design profession in Oregon could be transformed by the decisions of our elected officials in the next two weeks.

Please take a moment to write our elected officials using the link below and let legislators know that you support HB2153-A.

We need your voice to make sure HB2153 gets a hearing in Ways and Means!  It will not be heard without your voice!

Thank you for your ongoing support!
